DevOps Engineer
Qualifications
- Strong academic foundation in a technical field (top-tier university preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Linux
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and environments (GitLab preferred)
- Practical experience with distributed networks (firewalls, VPNs, L2/L3 routing, IPsec)
- Expertise in containerization and virtualization (Docker, KVM, QEMU, VirtualBox)
Nice-to-have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, FAI, OpenStack)
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Linux servers and services
- Establish and manage network communication infrastructure
- Implement and maintain monitoring and logging platforms (e.g., Zabbix)
- Manage backups and uphold data integrity
- Design and maintain reliable ETL pipelines for seamless data flow
- Configure and support CI/CD pipelines
- Provide technical support to the development team (Linux, Visual Studio, VS Code, VisualGDB, GCC)
- Provide technical support to the research team (Linux, R/Python)
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents and ad-hoc issues
